10.03.2012 Meet & Greet with style
We invite all students to an etiquette class. Main subjects:
 | how to make a good first impression |
| small talk and presention in English |
| good to know about formal dinner invitations, banquets, social events |
The workshop will be held by Sandy and Ann, two English native speakers, who have already held these type of workshops in other countries.
In order to give every student the most attention possible, we will hold to sessions of 2 hours.
Number of participants limited to 30 students for each session. Please register by email.
Session I: 10:30-12:30
Session II: 14:00-16:00
Contribution to costs: 10,-€ p.p.

03.03. Spring ball for junior club dancers
After the wonderfull sucess on 17.12. This will be your second ball event:
a festive dance evening with plenty of animations just for you.

All junior Club dancers beginners and advanced
as well as all former dancers or dancers 14-18 years

Dresscode: boys: dark trousers, shirt, tie or
bowtie, pullover....

Why and What
10 years already we are organising these ballroom dance classes for the German School. In the mean time also students of the European Schools and the International School are participating in these classes.
Main aims:

The classes start with solo dancing, to study the patterns and rhythms. Progressively the students learn to dance with a partner and to execute more complicated combinations.
First year dances (Beginners):
Mambo, Cha-cha, Disco-Swing, Foxtrot, English Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Tango,
Single Jive
Second year (Advanced):
Samba, Salsa, Rumba, Paso Doble, Quickstep is added
Third year: (Medallists):
